Introduction is probably necessary on the first blog right? Well I am Tricia. I am short and awesome. Haha. Well I like to think so. I’m a whole 21 years old and work full time for a major university. I love my job and the people I work with. I live in a ‘village’ in central IL ((they actually call it a village. not town or city. village)) I have a little brother and a mom and dad. My family is crazy but love them!

I’m writing this blog to just talk about my life, vent, get things off my chest, ya know whatever! Enjoy…and here goes nothing!

Well…first day has already been uneventful. Its snowing. I hate snow. Having a paper route for two and a half years ruins any good thoughts about snow. As I sit at my station at work and look out the 6 huge windows on the front of my building, I am dreading more and more of walking outside in that horrendous cold weather. I honestly don’t know how people can stand to live int he snowy mountains or up in Alaska. I’d take a warm beach and sunny weather over this any day! Worst part about it…I keep getting picture messages from my mom. Oh did I mention she is in Hawaii. Bogus I know. She was going whale watching this morning. Must be rough. :)

Its Thursday…and all I can think about is that I have a three day weekend coming up and its casual day tomorrow at work which means I get to wear jeans! As I grow up I start to realize how important just those two simple things can be to a full time employee. Weird to think that I’m growing up. I’ve had a full time job for two years. I’ve had a credit card for a year. I live on my own and just bought my second car. I suppose thats more than what others my age can say. I should take pride in what I have and I do. Only an hour left of work and then I’m outta here! It will probably take me an hour to get home but oh well. Going to try my cooking skills out tonight and fix my brother dinner. I’m thinking chicken n dumplings! yumm!! wish me luck!

Well thats all for now but I’m sure I’ll be updating more and more! Gotta run!
